Anticipating what will be formalized with the next revision of the European product regulations, we inform you that the suffix DW will be added from 1 September 2018 to the designation of alloys for which restrictions to the composition are applied according to the 4MS Common Composition List. For example:
CW617N = Alloy for general purposes;
CW617N-DW = Alloy for use in contact with water intended for human consumption according to the 4 MS Common Composition List
TRIDELLA brass spa and Rubinetteria GST srl use only bar suppliers that produce alloys according to Pb limits according to DW requirements.
